The Time Program develops the concepts of analogue, digital time. All resources have been trialed with pupils who have learning difficulties.
Whilst building an analogue clock, each time concept is taught. Through spatial and visual understanding of the time concept, students build connections between parts of the clock face. They cultivate a clear understanding of the relationship between minutes and hours and easily relate analogue to digital time. Tailored resources, practical activities and games ensure that students clearly understand related concepts such as fractions and counting in fives.
By the end of the program children understand the movement of time, calculating duration and reading any clock face.
